I started using Konsole because of the "Copy Input To" and Bookmark features years ago. Even when I run Gnome I stilll install Konsole...it sometimes takes a little tweaking to get it to obey the theme colors, but for my workflow it's worth it. I'd recommend determining your must have features for your work and start there.

As another example, on Windows, I was a heavy Putty user, mostly because when working with remote support, that's what they're familar with. I then had a need to export my putty saved sessions, it was then that I found out it was not possible. Kitty on the other hand had loads of QoL features like that. I still keep Putty portable around for the one off remote support user who is determmined to use only Putty, but my go to on Windows is Kitty

mtr is great, I use it all the time. It's as if traceroute and ping had a baby. I actually just used it this past weekend to troubleshoot my vpn connection

After trying (and failing) multiple times, I had to give in and google how to spell the spangram. I really thought I knew how to spell it, but boy was I off 😂

I've been up to Wright State in the middle of winter, armed with hat, gloves and a heavy coat, once you go into the tunnels though, you will see people walking around in shorts and t-shirts. It's actaully pretty cool (no pun intended), the students pretty much commute via the tunnels and rarely ever need to go to the surface. https://webapp2.wright.edu/web1/newsroom/2013/02/13/digging-into-the-history-of-wright-states-tunnels/

Obviously these tunnels don't connect to anything off campus, so vampires would need to travel above ground in order to access them. This is probably why I've never seen any while visiting
