This has literally been a problem since Windows ever came into being. I remember long nights of wrestling with this garbage on Jurassic versions of Windows.
It's terrifying to me that you work for a med lab system that is reliant on third party tracking cookies.
Isn't it sad that they referred to them as "Google Chrome coders" and not "web developers?"
Tells me everything I need to know.
This was the final straw for me. I will no longer have Chromium-based browsers on any system I own.
You can parent your children all day long and everything is just fine at home. As soon as your kids are unleashed into the world of school, it's anything goes. Facebook will never die. Too many people in third-world countries rely on Facebook for internet access. Facebook is happy to provide free connectivity to keep people hooked in countries like Philippines. They mask the images and videos in FB Messenger, but then provide a very ad-heavy Facebook lite experience for free. They brokered a deal with the carriers in these countries for this. Facebook is here to stay for a very, very long time.
Moving to Safari for main browser, Firefox for backup. No more chromium engines for me.
