One can make really good products and still be such unmitigated cunts that they should lose that business altogether.

They've spent insane amounts of money lobbying the government to keep poor AF people easily able to be tricked into paying for their tax return all while advertising a hard to find free service. Paying people we pay for with our tax dollars so that more of our hard earned cash can flow into their pockets. And if they spent insane amounts to keep it that way you know full well they're making that amount back and then some. Off of us.

They're evil. No offense to you, but fuck their really good products.

Heyyyy! Popping in from a Texas area that finally got some god damn rain to say, I'm so happy you got rain, too!!

It's glorious, isn't it?!

As someone who drives for a living and tries to be very aware of the motorcyclists in the area, thank you for your note. I'll add it to my "Don't kill a motorcyclist" checklist.

(god I hope that doesn't sound sarcastic)

Aw, man, two thirds through your comment I upvoted you cuz I felt bad your joke got taken wrong.

But the winge-fest in the edit... Dude sometimes a joke doesn't land, take the L.

This was literally my husband's objection to getting medicated 😂 It helped his anxiety, then he didn't have the anxiety to get stuff done, so he thought he should just not be medicated cuz he was terrified he wouldn't have the ability anymore without the anxiety.

Lucky for him I went through the same thing with my meds, but my answer was, "Use the medication to build good habits." Which is the great wisdom I passed on to him (which I probably picked up from lurking ADHD spaces before my (and his) diagnosis).

Of course, because they don't care that they're gonna do fascism, that's perfectly okay with those people. They think they're gonna be the ones on top. I mean, not TOP top, but what's that saying? "Tell the poorest white man that he's still better than a black dude and he'll give you his shirt" or something to that effect. They just wanna be special special boys and have some free punching bags walking around...and another punching bag married to them.

Wait til half of them find out that they, their friends, and/or their family will eventually be the " bad other " under fascism. They won't be so smug anymore. And that doesn't even feel satisfying to say cuz I'm just picturing all the dead and beaten people who will go before they get to eating their own. Bottom line is they're okay with things getting ugly as long as they're the ones making it ugly.

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

I looked it up cuz it was bothering me. I still like my version tho, so it stays, lol.

Man, I hope I live to see the day that these greedy bastards lose a huge chunk of their business to free filing via the IRS. They've been fighting to keep tax paying citizens from getting what they want from their government for years. It's gross.

I want to see this free filing happen both for the good it'll do and because I want to see Intuit's stock plummet. Fuck Intuit.

"It'S gOiNg tO HuRt bLaCk pEoPle" fuck off you dirty liars.

Keep up the good work, it might not always work, but the times that it does are priceless.

There are a decent amount of teenagers where I work and I try to pass that idea on to as many as I can. Adults too, of course, but it's really satisfying to be able to catch people while they're young and still have loads of time to protect themselves... From a lot of things.

You're absolutely right, all this old timer "Kids these days are so soft..." B. S. When in reality the young just don't wanna die or be maimed at 30.

Take care of your bodies, kids, it's the only one you get. Don't let corporations run you into the ground and then throw you in the trash. We need to demand better working conditions from our bosses and our elected officials.

I'm wrong in thinking that vaguely asking for articles about other justices instead of engaging with the current discussion of a specific justice whose scandal just broke is distracting? How?

And why are you and I fighting about this? You're not even the guy I called out for being distracting. I don't have beef with you.

And btw, I'm doubling down because I know that I'm right. When I know I'm wrong I just admit it, like an adult.

Did I say he wasn't? The fact that he's being targeted alone is the issue I have, there's 0 articles posted here talking about any other judge

This is the comment I had a problem with, not yours. Thomas isn't being "targeted" , he's having huge scandals break. He isn't being targeted alone the scandals of his peers have broken years ago (the ones that have broken thus far anyway, I'm sure there's more we don't know about yet). And those scandals were widely discussed at the time they broke.

Why would there be current articles about the other justices when we don't have current scandals for them? That's why I say the dude (not you, you're good) was trying to change the topic.

None of those rise to the rank of "wHy aReN't wE tAlKiNg aBoUt ThEm?? though. The crimes or corruption of a dead guy, and Kavanaugh whose corruption was widely discussed before and during and after his confirmation, don't warrant changing the topic away from crimes and corruption freshly unearthed about Thomas.

Dude was being distracting on purpose.
