Oh man, I am so hyped about this movie I'm having trouble choosing what to have for breakfast. It is time to reread the book and rewatch the first movie. Again.

Well that sucks. I rarely use the service but it's been great when I needed it.
Excession by Iain M Banks is one of my Culture favorites. I really like the far future universe he built with all its anarchy and culture clashes. Jeff VanderMeer's Ambergris books are my favorite kind of creepy weird. The first book is massive and a bit of a slog to read but worth it in my opinion. Just like everyone else I like the Foundation series by Asimov.
I'm currently reading A Mist of Grit and Splinters, book five of Graydon Saunders Commoweal series. The first book, The March North, was incredibly confusing until I figured out his writing style but I really like the series after that.
It's the best in my opinion since events in one book have consequences in other books even if they're not of the same sub series (Witches/Night Watch/Wizards/etc).

Looks like he's going to try some kind of subscription model.
