Higher end Smartphones have anyway always on displays. And the led needs screenspace - which should be maximized. That's why the notch on phones etc. was introduced.

YSK that you can access deleted reddit answers with the wayback machine! The same goes for private communities etc. (web.archive.org)

Did you give Gimp a try? After initial struggles to adapt I don't miss anything.

What distro(s) do you use? in c/[email protected]

Arch Linux is hard at the beginning but I never will look back using something else as daily driver.
