Exactly. If he approaches me in person, I'm not going to pretend he's my friend and stroke his batshit crazy ego, I'm going to treat him neutrally but not entertain him.

As you know, r/EDC has been down for a while now and I don't know if it will ever come back. If only the users from that sub knew about this Lemmy community, I bet we could make this our new home.

I made this utility bike trailer. It's not perfect, but it's solid and does the job. (imgur.com)
 

I messed up on the stain, but it's one of my first woodworking projects that I have used stain on, so it's a learning project. It started as one of those child/pet carrier bike trailers. I removed everything but the bare frame and wheels and built it up with wood. It weighs 40lbs, which isn't great, but I have an ebike that helps with the weight. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but I've already used it a few times to get groceries or large things I needed to pick up (don't have a car).

I'm just getting started with woodworking, so I don't have a lot, but I've managed to make a few projects with what I currently have. If I had a planar, it would open the door to a lot more stuff that I could make, I think.
