Same, i didn’t realize how much muscle memory I had engrained from Apollo, I swipe right to left at least 3 times a day to try and return to a thread 😖
The 2022 and 2023 liveries have been absolutely awful. And I’m a McLaren fan. 2021 was the last decent livery and even that was pretty whelming.

The other day wefwef.app hit api limits on lemmy.world so nothing was loading for awhile. The dev recommended selfhosting if you were able to go avoid these shutdowns.
Another benefit would be that your selfhosting instance would theoretically be available even if wefwef.app was down for some reason or another.
You don’t need to, but the developer of wefwef encouraged it a few days ago because Wefwef was hitting API limits, so the app wasn’t working for some hours.
If you selfhost it, you won’t ever run into this issue.
There are probably other reasons too. Among them, why not? :)
Memmy so far, it’s got most of the features you’d want, even different themes. The others are all very good, too, though, including wefwef PWA which mimicks Apollo very closely.
I use them all throughout the day, but use Memmy the most right meow.
Best solution I’ve heard yet. They can’t put permanent gravel or grass because it would be a danger to other series. Instead they could put tech pro barrier or other removable wall.
Tell me about it, I’ve rotated through Dracula, Sleepy Rainforst, Oksolar Dark, and Sunset all just today, lol!
Oksolar Dark is the current one in rocking but they are all so good I’ll probably just keep rotating through.
