No, a step in the right direction is for a government that can actually run a country and deliver solutions to it's people, not steal from them. Another step is to end systemic racism which the ruling party has done so with BEE causing more corruption in 30 years than we could have ever imagined.

It has everything to do with censorship. This sets a precedent in which a community can be banned by admins and moderators who deem a community to fall outside of their viewing needs.

This is controlling the narrative which we know LW cannot be held legally liable for what is posted on the web, otherwise we'd see search engines being shutdown for caching results.

Mate, fuck off with your clickbait bullshit. It's spammers like you ruining the experience for us.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, it makes sense about what you've just been saying. It stands to reason that government should put in more protections for casuals rather than just being offered a full time position by an employer for those that choose to stay casual.

The Taliban really do live with a backwards mentality. A story book shouldn't define the rights of people.

Please may someone explain this a little bit more for me? My understanding has been that casuals are a temporary solution to fill gaps in the various sectors of employment.

Why would we need a plan to make them permanent? Would the onus not be on the employer to decide to ask if they would want full time work if they had the ability to do so? Or is this purely a means to prevent employers from extorting casuals?

If OpenAI is being roadblocked by all these social platforms why doesn't it decentralize and use the fediverse to learn?

China needs to stfu, all they do is complain instead of staying in their own corner. They're the biggest hypocrite on the planet.

Greetings folks,

As per the question, how does one get involved with a lobby group? Reason for the question is because like most, I'm tired of this property crisis and I really feel we should do what Canada did and cut off foreign purchasing to our real estate industry as this will bring down the pricing of housing and potentially even your rent.

Thanks

The fact that anyone is surprised by Meta's data collection processes is surprising in itself. Did anyone not see the Facebook scandal?

This tactic is nothing new and they're only going to get worse. It's only a matter of time before Threads comes under the same scrutiny for predatory data collection methods.
