fun fact: my first experience of Linux was actually in Ubuntu (in a emulator ofc), and yes Im thinking of using mint

Personally I am pretty bias towards lemm.ee, mostly because it's the instance I joined when starting out. I mostly do all because i personally don't prefer using local communities. Don't really care about federation, just like using lemmy either way
