Someone put it to me like this once -

You’re going to turn 30. Would you rather be 30 and educated or just 30?

For whatever reason, that stuck with me.

I have in the past, yes. Reputable hosts and cloud providers tend to take them seriously in my experience.

I used a self-hosted Nextcloud for a while. It was pretty close to a Google drive stand in. I believe it had similar browser playback for videos

Wisco is doing some things right, that’s for sure. That said, I still want to be in the yoop. Superior is a tremendous resource and I’m going to want to be near it in the next fifty years.

The Mind Eraser has an apt name - that thing gives me headaches every single time I ride it.

Now, Journey to the Center of the Earth? 👌 Is Screamin’ Mimi still around? That thing was a must ride when I was a kid, but as an adult it looks like a total death trap.

I saw the twitter thread as it happened and came away feeling like this data is somehow not right - it’s anecdotal of course, but lots of folks in the comments also chimed in that they’d had their best year ever in the markets 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love it - looks like a fun ride.

I don’t think it’s totally overrated - it isn’t worth the trouble (imho) for Fri/Sat night reservations, but it’s a decent spot for a low-traffic night out

Love this guy, but also - run decent tires. Continental Touring or Schwalbe Marathons almost never flat.

Kind of a chicken or an egg problem - we need content to attract the people, the people are attracted to content.
