Wow. What a smoking pile of shit of an article. Almost looks like it was the "west" that started this horrible war and not Russias decision to invade Ukraine.
He has a fascinating historical background and is one of the most well known figures in medieval Czech history. Prague has an inpressive statue of him riding a horse. It is huge and on the top of a hill called Vitkov. A neighborhood in Prague bears his name.
He rightfully became a symbol of the fight of the protestant hussites against the catholic crusaders in Bohemia. There is no child in Czech Republic that doesn't know who he was.
The crusades happened later in his life than the part KCD shows where he was just a bandit. Although that part of his life is true too.
If you look closely the tank is smoking. Possibly they thought it was "dead," already.
Wow. What is this abomination?
Im not a gentoo user but this is the most accurate visualisation of my first Linux experince ca 23 years ago.
This sounds really interesting. Do you have any clue who did it or any other context? Id like to find out more.
When the "referendums" to join Russia were done in the occupied parts of Ukraine. Czech Republic has decided to organise a similar one on Kaliningrad. It turns out they want to be a part of Czech Republic. Historically they have belonged to the Kingdom of Bohemia and the population wants those times back. Kaliningrad has been renamed to its real name - Královec. Thanis to this exclave landlocked Czech Republic now has sea access. And our Polish friens are now in a Czechia sandwich. Everybody is happy about bringing Kralovec back to the warm embrace if Czechia. Tourism is booming and the Czech goverment is subsidizing the travel industry there. You too can visit Královec. https://visitkralovec.cz/#news
/s (obviously) In Czech Republic this has become a meme where even news stations, big companies and politicians participate. Fun part is Russian propaganda used this to paint a picture of hostile intentions of Czechia.
I didn't know what you were referencing when you posted this, but yesterday i found the place. And yes. Both my ankles were broken. :-D
