People look for echo chambers, Lemmy is no different. Like any community, it’s full of people who want to be heard but have nothing to say.

Yup, there have been countless attempts to paywall creator content but they always flop. The closest we have right now is offering video content through Patreon subscriptions, but creators know they can’t put their main content there because it would destroy their platform

What happened is what is subtracted from was divided by what could have been. If you know the integral of what could have bin then you can obtain the euclidean distance to what is and then you know what happened.

Definitely tradeoffs to consider.

Not an opinion I agree with, but it's total valid if those are your preferences.

You've got a lot of responses already, but as a business owner, I highly recommend not taking risks like this when you first start out. You don't ever want technical problems like word documents not opening correctly to mean the difference between getting your work done and spending time working on... well, not work. This is why I've always advocated that Linux is great, especially for my home compute, but when it comes to work, it's about being the most effective/efficient.

Thanks for letting me know. Super cool, very aesthetic, but you're right, there's no way they stay legible for 10+ years.
