My car has different driver profiles, linked to separate keys. Unlock the car with your key and it sets the seat, mirrors, temperature and radio stations to my presets. It's so nice.

Aspartame flavoured drinks all taste horrid. I don't think I've had a soft drink since the sugar was taken away from us.

Looks like Lemmy.world had some external "issues" earlier, I logged on to post at 4.30 this morning and was greeted by "Site taken down by Reddit" (lol). Looks like the nasty hacker types have been evicted.

Hi all,

I've set up my own Lemmy instance (using @ubergeek77's Easy Deploy script) on an Oracle Cloud free tier. I can sign in, and have added communities from other instances.

I'm seeing new posts from lemmy.ml, but not from lemmy.world. Does it take days to do an initial sync (my instance was created on Thursday)? Is Lemmy.world just too overloaded?
