It just doesn't stop, does it?

"Mr. Savaryn was a leading Progressive Conservative in Alberta and prominent member of Edmonton’s Ukrainian community who championed multiculturalism and played a key role in establishing schools with Ukrainian-language instruction. He also set up the Edmonton branch of the Ukrainian scout group Plast, whose participants included Chrystia Freeland, now Deputy Prime Minister.

In a 2013 interview with the newspaper Ukrainian Weekly, Ms. Freeland recalled attending the youth group there. “Plast was a very important part of my life growing up,” she said. “I grew up in a Ukrainian community and was active in Plast.”"

One more damning connection of Freeland to her family's Nazi past.

In what way is the USA a force for good? This isn't the only coup that they have orchestrated, they have not only continued to do so since and will likely perform more in the future.

This is not to mention the other countless atrocities committed under its flag.

Landlords have always been horrible, you've just been able to insulate yourself from the experience.

You would find it surprising that the US government would put a hit out on an enemy?

OUN started the UPA, it's the same group.

Were the OUN doing antifacism when they did the pogroms against the Poles and the Jews?

Who was it that was selling Saddam sarin gas and anthrax again?

When my Grandmother and her family fled the Nazi attack on Crimea, they fled to Bessarabia. Very interesting.

This was absolutely laughable! Everything that they said on the state of the USA was true then and even more true today. Hilarious how the presenter refutes the Soviet claims by merely saying "no, that's not true" without any substance.

I showed it to my mum who grew up in the Soviet Union and she came to the same conclusion. It reminded her of some old magazines from the 1970s called Крокодил, (Crocodile) that she has which have some more humourous commentary on the US that she'll be sharing with me.

Least warmongering socdem

To preface this, I was born to a Russian (Soviet) immigrant mother and an English speaking father in Canada. So I was raised always exposed to Russian culture and the language to the point that I spoke Russian exclusively while I was getting the first grips of language as an infant.

For most of my life, I've only been able to use basic phrases and find it very difficult to hold a conversation, but I can get the gist of what the other person is talking about and I would often have to resort to responding in English.

I have a very good grasp at the alphabet, but have some difficulties pronouncing new words with many consonants in sequence.

This is a really long winded way to say that I feel overwhelmed with the amount of improvement that I need to make, and that I'm looking to be pointed in the right direction to start making progress.

It's Pravda, literally the propaganda arm of the Ukrainian Government.

Yesterday, I spent the day with my girlfriend and my roommate, we went to a local Filipino festival (both of them are Filipino), kinda boring, mostly just groups recruiting and realtors peddling their services. Otherwise a good day.

Today, I went for a 25km bike ride around the city, along the beach to the main university for the region for lunch. Total 140m elevation gain. Feeling proud of myself, not the longest ride, but one of the toughest hills I've done so far. (NW Marine Drive towards UBC for any locals, feel free to send a message if you are!)
