I prefer LibreTube. They took the piece of NewPipe that interfaces with youtube and made it a server (called Piped). This means that whenever google makes the inevitable change that breaks these programs, they just need to update the server code and this is generally faster.

I've just read the rules of Masquerade, it seems really good. Also, being able to play with up to 13 players makes it really flexible.

EDIT: Have you played the expansion as well?

Since nobody mentioned it yet, I want to link to pass.

It uses only standard stuff, passwords are GPG encrypted files in a directory tree, and you can sync them with git. This makes it completely platform/browser independent, I currently use it with passff and APS.

For us:

  • Bang!: spaghetti western with secret teams, up to 7 players
  • Fuji flush: easy card game, up to 8 players
  • Exploding Kittens: silly cards where drawing may make you lose, up to 10 players (with the expansion)
  • Secret Hitler: a kind of werewolf where you have to create governments and pass laws, up to 10 players
