I've never been an Arteta Out'er but one of my criticisms of him is that he does not tolerate players who are not 100% focused on the team. Of course it's great to have an atmosphere like that, but it's sort of unreasonable to expect everyone to fully buy in to the same level as your diehard zealots. How many world-class players do you think we'll find that aren't divas in their own way?

Surely you have to be able to work with people who aren't as interested in the culture that you're creating in order to truly be called an effective man manager?

Mbeumo is interesting because he's the kind of player (like Zaha, for example) that always finds joy against us. That makes me think that he does have something that we need. The real question is how far over the barrel we're going to get bent?
