Hmm, i can’t help you with debian. I had vala app menu working with Xfce also in the past, but don’t use it anymore.

vala panel appmenu could be a option.

I totally agree - Apple invested alot of cash and time into this, just take it and make it better here and there. Just a few steps left :)

They should simply find the courage to implement Apples Human Interface Guidelines. It wont hurt and they are almost there anyway.

Meine Wahrnehmung ist, Nvidia GPUs können für Probleme sorgen. Ich weiß jetzt nicht warum du dieses Modell gewählt hast, eine Alternative mit AMD GPU wäre vermutlich stressfreier.
