I mean think about what you need for an espresso machine. Precision machining, durable/expensive parts, a really strong boiler, it's generally quite hard to get that under $100. I will say with a LOT of work you can get amazing results with something like a picopresso or nanopresso

How about some actual progressive policy? Not sure how people like you manage to play ignorance for this long.

You're being hard headed if you want everyone you argue with in the comments to list exactly what they were looking for. How about you go into chat gpt and ask "what are some progressive policies that Democratic voters want that aren't being reflected by the DNC and you'll get exactly what you're facetiously asking us

I mean, don't deny that it's a lot worse now, well, because of the actions of the current Israeli government. It's not really comparable to before. Understandably so.

You guys just allergic to admitting her policy and campaign were shitty? She really didn't propose anything progressive whatsoever. I'm a Bernie guy and I reluctantly voted Harris. I knew it'd be another 4 years of stagnation, not progress.

Magnificent campaign 🤣🤣🤣

Do you really expect everyone to vote in the name of altruism? How naive can you be?

I mean, I get the joke but this whole thread is actually about not dismissing men's problems and acknowledging some positive male role models, just feels a little in bad taste. Yes amal Clooney is amazing, but read the damn room. That's part of the problem, even after this whole discussion, you still come away with the same conclusions - let's not bother celebrating the white male because he doesn't "deserve" it as much as (in this case) his wife

Or maybe it's not a simple answer? Have you considered actually thinking about what happened instead of looking for a zinger headline?

[–] rishado 6 points 1 month ago

You want this to be true because it's a simple explanation, just like Republicans. Stop being so immature and look at the actual dogshit platform she ran on and think again. You just defined confirmation bias in your comment. Doesn't make it true

Crazy what happens when you actually appeal to your constituents

[–] rishado -2 points 1 month ago

No, because the truth is not as simple as that. Dems ran on a terrible campaign again, and lost again. Underselling "our" party's shortcomings is a surefire way to another loss next cycle.

Disagree, Harris would not have been close to winning at all if there was a primary. Even Tim Walz would have absolutely smoked her in a primary.
