Here's the original in case anyone is confused.

Wow that's a ton. I didn't get home from downtown until after 6 and it didn't seem like we had it that bad up in Flying Horse, but who knows if it all melted before I got home.

Ahh, King Soopers, where your $12 a pound ground beef comes with a bonus side of mesothelioma.

Yes it is. And it federates with Lemmy.

[–] rich8n 3 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Yeah I really like the federated nature of things, it's got me really exploring other communities on other servers, plus KBIN magazines, Mastadon stuff, Peertube, etc...

[–] rich8n 2 points 2 years ago

Isn't that the truth. So sad our society can bend over backwards to take care of everything but people.

[–] rich8n 2 points 2 years ago

Very nice. That should be a nice boost to the community.

One is a community and one is a server that can have it's own communities, that can federate with other servers.

Oh sweet. I'll check it out

Hehe, I figured I'd grab it on Lemmy.world before someone nefarious did. I'm happy to share the load though.

Yeah sure did. still have the original file somewhere. It's funny because in that original one I doxxed myself by taking that google maps screenshot that has the icon for my house showing were I lived at the time, near Austin Bluffs and Stetson Hills.

Dang, where is there a nursing home for 3k a month? My dad had to go into a nursing home here in Colorado, and had to private pay out of his savings until it was exhausted and the Medicaid kicked in. Private pay at the cheapest place in town was 7.2k a month minimum, and the food was about like that. They shut that facility down a few years ago, and he got moved to a much nicer one that still took medicaid. Food is orders of magnitude better there. Not all places ate like that, but they are all very expensive for private pay.
