We shall see. ProtonVPN has some handy features that make it beneficial for me to route all traffic through.

A local university sells surplused towers for $40, so my last resort is to get ime of those and only run plex on that computer and not have a VPN on that one.

Different strokes for different folks, I run all traffic through a VPN.

Split tunneling wasnt quite working. I'll spend time on it some day.

I paid for a lifetime subscription 6 years ago... would definitely say I got my $80 worth.

Only complaint is that the streaming my own media files doesnt work great with my VPN, but I so rarely need that, so I havent spent much effort trying to figure it out. It's on my list of things to do though.

Get an EMT license and moonlight on the ambulance... it's kind of amazing

If you don't mind me asking, what are your disabilities?

What do you enjoy?

What education do you have?

What state/general region do you live in?

If you're willing to answer some/all ofthose, I can start providing some more specific answers than you've gotten.

Biggest thing though is going to be to realize that you are likely still able to provide for yourself well, no matter who is president. And, hyperbole is not super healthy to internalize.

It depends.

A lot of FDs run the ambulance, a lot don't.

In my area ambulance is seperate from fire, but fire crew responds to lift assists and certain other calls where we may need a driver or another set of hands for CPR. Some departments respond with a pickup/brush rig, and other respond with the full engine, just depends on manning.

St Louis City is one FD I am aware of that runs their own ambulance.

They have their place, but it's not my preference for EDC

Tailcap switch could be nice, but I haven't missed having one.

My SureFire has a tailcap switch and it would keep getting turned on in my pocket.

It's a personally owned light, not medical equipment. And, I also can use it on moonlight mode to check pupils, works better than the lights we are given.

And, why carry a big light if a small light can do the trick? I have a bigger light (noctigon K1) with a 1 mile throw, I can't lug that around in my pocket.

I mechanically lock out the light in my pocket so it doesnt accidentally get turned on. It's my choice to carry a light with those capabilities, it's also not that dangerous...
