How does moderation work in subs? When I report something does it go to the mod of that sub or the admins of the instance?

Cough, mastodon.social and Lemmy.ml, cough

There is a huge influx of reddit refugees who are not using the platform. This new userbase is taxing on the current infrastructure

This would've been better a few years back

Possibly but at least Lemmy is federated.

This is why I feel that the word "minorities" should be avoided. It might be better to say "safe place for all".

I personally find your comment to be a bit offensive. I do not consider myself to be in league with the governor of Florida and I would never use the word "woke"

I do my best to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I feel that hyper focusing on small groups of people is harmful and we need to focus on creating a fair and equal world. I am aware that there is plenty of racism and sexism in the world but I am only a person so I can't fix everything. Just because I am conservative does not mean that I am christo-fascist

Antisemitic terrorists are minorities, should we include them as well.

I don't like the term minorities because it is overly vauge and often takes on a bigger meaning than just the original word.

I'm not saying that presidents should have a get out if jail free card. However the trials feel a lot like left vs right to me.

This post is informative but I fail to see how it relates to reddit. Did you post under the wrong thread?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I think I'll stay since all the other instances have a lot of negativity. I just wanted to highlight some of your bias.

It puts focus on small groups of people instead of the general public.
