Perhaps you never heard of the psychological targeting done for political purposes through the misuse of mass data. (Cambridge Analytics)

Edit: to be clear, people in the comments have already provided many examples of situations where corporations/governing bodies have misused specific people's personal data (zoom employees watching webcams without knowledge), however I also don't think it makes sense to brush off the impact of mass data available as a result of much of the population freely giving away their personal data.

Spiritfarer is a great game for the summer - super good price too.

I haven't tried Fear & Hunger yet, but what I know about it sounds fantastic if you're into punishing dark and unique games. That being said, don't watch too much of a preview for this one. I was spoiled on some of the earlier surprises and challenges and it looks like such a ride!

Yep, that always seemed to be the reasoning, even if downloading the Signal app takes no more than 15 seconds to download and start using.

Though I definitely get not wanting to juggle 3 or 4 chat platforms.

Zone of the Enders. The first one was short and alright, but the 2nd Runner was incredible.

Also always had a special place in my heart for Gungrave PS2 games. Weird controls, but a hell of a good time.

I'm with you on Starfox! I think there's a lot of missed potential to try new things with that style of game. So much so that I've been working on a game in my spare time with similar mechanics and action, but with a greater focus on giving players different ways to approach combat.

I heard retro studios was working on their own take on Starfox. Hopefully they'll revive that after Metroid Prime.

Got a surprising amount of contacts to move into signal from Whatsapp, though the iMessage gang can't stop iMessaging.

As an android user, I don't see why you would want to use something that restricts your secure messaging to a single platform.

As a result of Signal's poor decision to stop SMS service, I frequently forget to check my SMS app for messages.
