I'm clumsy that's why I don't do inversion, hahaha. I might end up wearing the coffee.

I have about a hundred bottles, give or take five. I recently moved houses and they all fit in a 15"x20" plastic box, in two layers.

I followed you here from the sopuli.xyz community several days ago. But up to now it says my subscription is still pending. Is lemmy.world federating ok with wayfarershaven.eu?

Usually it's a Bialetti moka pot if I want strong coffee. But I alternate with V60/Origami and Aeropress.

I first discovered this poem on "Poems on the Underground", at https://poemsontheunderground.org/. I used to think people riding the London tube were so lucky they could read poetry on their way to taking the train. It's a very comforting poem, it's got a clarity of thought and a kindness that impresses itself upon the reader.

This is the time to be slow,
Lie low to the wall
Until the bitter weather passes.

Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.

If you remain generous,
Time will come good;
And you will find your feet
Again on fresh pastures of promise,
Where the air will be kind
And blushed with beginning.

(From "To Bless The Space Between Us", Random House, 2008.)

About 18 clicks on the Timemore C2. Medium, yes. I usually stick from 16-18 clicks when brewing this way.

The dripper and stand fold and fit inside the mug! Hahaha. That's what attracted me to it.

I get a sweeter brew out of it. By faster flow I meant I used to get 3:00 flow on V60, but on the Rivers it's 2:30.

I got this lovely reversible olive drab silicone coffee dripper and mug set locally (from Lazada Philippines). Rivers is a Japanese brand. The side with the fat ribs flows faster, so I make sure the fat ribs are in the inside of the dripper. It's great for camping.

I was in college. A guy friend's father just came back from Japan, and got him a fountain pen, a Pilot 55, the precursor of the Pilot 78G. He showed it off, then put it in his back jeans pocket and promptly sat on it. He cracked the cap! So he said, "Oh no, I think I have to throw it away now." I asked for it, as it wrote very nicely. I taped it up with black electric tape and used it for the next two years until I graduated. Then I lost it, and cried buckets. My father was surprised that I was so attached to a fountain pen that he gave me a Montblanc 144 as a graduation gift.

A Lamy limited edition, in Itoya Copper. I won it in an Instagram giveaway by a company that does buying of Japanese pens for Filipino clients. It's a lovely matte cement grey, with a copper-colored clip.

You can narrow down the identification of your Sheaffer pen (which looks like an Imperial) when you visit www.penhero.com or www.sheaffertarga.com (under Imperial-Triumph).

Diamine Graphite is another grey I use apart from Diamine Earl Grey, but it has a muted green undertone.
