I live in Europe, and when I withdraw from ATMs when traveling in Germany, I only use "trusted" ATMs like official banks (never Euronet or other "scam" ATMs), but because it's outside of my own country, it'll cost ~5€ per withdrawal. In my own country I don't pay, no matter which bank's ATM I use.

Thanks for teaching me the abbreviation EFTPOS.

My dad is still among us, even though I grew up with his take on it, loosely translated:

Early awake, early asleep. That brings health to every weeb.

It's possible that he already translated it from English (your dad's saying or an unknown variation of it), and that I've now translated it back to English, for each translation moving a bit further away from the original meaning in order to keep it rhyming. (I wrote "weeb" to make it rhyme, my dad's version said "boy".)

Or get the opposite; a leaf vacuum. They seem way more useful to me than the ones that blow.

Yes, but still, what's the meaning in being that precise about these amounts of applesauce, nuts etc.? I get it when it comes to chemical additives, vitamins, minerals, or drugs where a tiny amount means a big difference, but those grams of applesauce seem irrelevant. They probably won't make any noteworthy difference dietarily - only in their mind, possibly, in case it's a ritual to satisfy an OCD, or something else that I just can't imagine(?)

My thought right now is, those amounts are probably calculated based on some recommended amount of calories etc., from a dietary chart or something like that?

I do. Not always, but sometimes the toppings are just too sweet for my taste, especially in the morning.

Do you seriously meticulously measure those 63g, 28g, 16g etc. every day, or is it a joke? Now, don't get me wrong; I don't judge you if you do. I just couldn't see myself measuring a lot of stuff in such a precise manner first thing in the morning. I'd just go ~60g, ~30g, ~15g and then don't care if it's a few grams off. Or, actually, I'd probably just do "one tablespoon of this, a handful of that" etc.

Edit: "high quality H2O" got me laughing. I guess I'll have to stop using the swamp water for my breakfast...
