But in all seriousness, the Quest 2 is pretty good hardware, especially for the price. The problem is that Meta tried to build an ecosystem around monetization and then bring people in, rather than building something that appeals to most people and still allows them to profit. Kinda the opposite of the Facebook model really, which became a defacto online community and kinda kept the monetization a little quieter or behind the scenes for a long time

I've had windows do this to me randomly before, especially if it's an interface that comes up a bit late. Be careful that it doesn't change back on you

Yeah, I get that Bedrock is for consoles, but as far as far as "performance" that's mostly a front-end consideration.

Thank you for this! Last FOSS engine I used was OGRE but it was fairly inconsistent across hardware and PC only at the time.

How would they even track that it was "only the initial install", and what's the metric for that? If i need to reinstall my OS due to a crash, is that a second install for the game? How about if I replace a piece of hardware that fails, is it considered a new system with a new install?

The whole idea that they can claim additional fees for an "install" is ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't find any religion I've ever run across appealing, but I have no beef with those who do good under the umbrella of their religion and don't try to beat on others with it.

The Irving's in eastern Canada are no better than DuPonte or PG&E. There's something seriously dirty going on there.

And? You could take the same data and say- "religious persons are less likely to speak out againstmessaging that potentially promotes harm" (likely also dependent on the religious affiliation of the messenger)

The preceding message that this makes atheists the more "intolerant" group is a pretty massive reach, consider that the messaging they may be against could in itself be one of intolerance as per my example.
