I use a list program called any.do (synchs with my iphone and computer) as well as my google calendar. Any.do lets me keep multiple lists by category (and can share them with other people). It also creates grocery list that it sorts by category. Then I use evernote for all of my brain dump stuff and notepad for quickly jotting stuff down (like lists of names 😊).

holy shit are you kidding me?? I thought something was wrong with my phone because my app was stupid pixelated! AND I AM A FREAKIN PREMIUM MEMBER!! I cancelled it a few weeks ago, but it will still go until December of this year. So, even though I’m premium, I wouldn’t have known I could change it if I hadn’t seen the post here 🙄 I hope people continue to come over to the fediverse - once my premium is expired, I won’t go back
had a chance to think —
possible suggestions
hello world hiway aurora yazoo torus cow (connecting our world) and my favorite for some reason — smith - as in wordsmith, blacksmith etc.
yes, for me for sure! I find music with words totally distracting when I’m trying to read or write - I was never able to work while listening to music
on the other hand, I find listening to music when I’m driving in the car really helps distract half of my brain so I am able to actually get some good thinking with the other half of my brain which is now uncluttered and less distractible
agree with changing the name, not too fond of Badger (too similar to Beaver in my mind). Too early for my brain to function , but will try to come up with some suggestions and post later - thanks for involving the community in this though process
of course, but I still am frustrated that this always happens
why does this always happen?? :(
sigh, yes, I read a great description the other day of executive function and was just gutted at how well it describes by executive DISfunction :(
I cannot bring myself to do most of the things that need to be done in my house, and spend so many hours wasting time on the couch. A couple months ago, I decided to turn the tables a bit…I realized that even if I was stuck on the couch for whatever reason, I could still be productive in many ways. So, I decided to focus on the good things I could do from my couch (host zoom meetings for my support group, manage a couple facebook groups, do volunteer work for my choir…) and so I feel better about my crappy executive function…
