You should just use what works for you - and it's a nice keyboard you got there :-)
Right now I'm using a Corne keyboard with a 42-key layout. Working on a new Corne with 36/34-key layout.

Like your setup. I’m more a smaller keyboard type - but it’s a nice setup :-)
I like the small keeb fidget :-) ...and nice keyboard btw.
Nice to see some alternative layouts in use. I use qwerty with danish chars. on a separate layer. Works ok for now - and going to 34-keys it's required ;-)
I sarted with Planck keyboards and migrated to split - 42 key Corne for now, but my next project is gonna be a 36/34 key Corne or similar.
