Personally, I hate politico. I don't think they're unbiased and I don't think they have good coverage. Nonetheless I wanted to bring up abortion.
I find it hard to believe that the GOPs attacks on abortion actually matter that much politically. I believe they matter for women's right but that's out of scope of this post. I don't know how many states are actually going to swing blue just because the GOP repealed Roe v Wade. "The Base" is locked into the Trump train. 80% of republicans support trump even though he was instrumental in, and took credit for, the abortion ban.
That's interesting. It's obviously completely divorced from what we talk about in the media.
