You do you! It's about what works for YOU, not what others think is best.
If you'll keep using you will cross a point where you can make your own choice anyway (and that might be sticking by to what you've been using)
You can also compile your own firmware. Updates are also verifieable
There seemed to be an influx of reddit users but probably didn't like Lemmy's own distinct user base (*nix users for example)
I am kind of glad it settled down because I much prefer Lemmy over reddit
General problems are parents integrate well, children clamp on their parents identity and prefer that over the identity of their place of residence. And if you look at the statistics it's not projected, it's true (math doesn't lie)
The lack of "real world complaints" and "anger" in popular music genres helps keep the masses docile
