One rule Reddit Politics had that I loved was the "No Concern Trolling" rule.

That combined with a general bad faith argument rule would clean this kind of trolling up real quick.

The fact that this community hasn't implemented these kind of rules has been sad. However, it's not like we're flooded with this type of content. But that doesn't mean it's not an issue

There's a ton of work in green energy and water management.

When Harris wins, there will be even more federal funding being dumped into these sectors. However a ton of that work is either going to be labor intensive or require a specific education (or both).

Also, the software engineering field isn't going to be replaced by AI any time soon (if ever). What will happen is that AI will become a tool of skilled engineers to increase their output efficiency, consistency, and quality.

Trump has just made people that are prone to poor rational thinking and emotional outbursts ravenous for some sort of internal war to begin. His continued rileing of his base and supporters on fictional doomsdays approaching has finally gotten people that are on edge to finally toppled off that edge and commit their crimes.
