I misread this and thought you were asking who gave him a 1. Because I did and although he may have tried to "fix it", in the very same game, he only gave a yellow for a much worse tackle and he's been consistent in his referring approach against Arsenal compared to our opponents for multiple years.

  • Martinelli's two yellows within the same passage of play: never seen that before or again.
  • Trossard for kicking the ball away: barely see that given and he had some opportunities to punish Wolves for that.
  • Not carding Kovacic: he didn't want to "influence" the game. For someone who doesn't want to influence games, he very well seems to influence games against us...

There are probably a lot more I'm not bothered to spend the time to research.

Whether bias, malice, incompetence, he's always punished us to the fullest extent of the law within the game or beyond.

I'll shut up about the red card, but I just want to check, I've heard people mention MLS's stud hit the player's achilles. Last time I checked that was the back of the leg. So, if MLS trips a player, that's the opposite side of the leg and that point is moot.

As an example, I haven't seen many articles about PGMOL's response the the red card

It's annoying to see so much news on Spurs' loss, opposed to the red card incident.

Spurs haven't been great this season. Not much has changed.

Feels like it's a distraction tactic.

Fucking bullshit

Happy to see Man City suffer.

On a human level, I feel for the kid. Same with the kid who played goalkeeper in the Spurs game. Unsurprisingly, Rio Turdinand was an absolute cunt about it.

I was meant to reply to the Michael Oliver comment...

So, Darren England has been stood down previously for a fuck up whilst in VAR.

People make mistakes, I know I've made plenty, but he has the benefit of replays and time in this situation. He could even call refs to the monitors to review certain decisions. There are cunting 4+ officials to talk over the incident (although linesman would have a limited view) and some of them have the aforementioned capabilities.

That being said, after all the bullshit of this season (as well as other stuff going on in life) my patience and optimism are wearing thin. We have the most red cards this season with 4; 3 of them being bullshit.

The officiating today was once again dogshit, yet this is the "top" football league in the world.

It half makes me wonder if they purposefully use shit refs just to add to the controversy to boost viewership.
