I didn't know about Guadalinfo! I wish the Junta kept promoting Libre software. Sadly Guadalinex is discontinued but I installed it last year in a VM out of pure nostalgia haha.
I sometimes dream about a new Andalusian Distro... illOS.
Btw, I created an Andalusian community here in Lemmy! Is completely empty rn, but I hope that changes in the future.
I'm not happy with RedHat neither. And Fedora 40 considering to add telemetry doesn't help. I love Fedora tho, but if RHEL keeps heading the way is going I'll hop to another distro.
Maybe is time to try Arch and embrace the meme (and learn, I'm a lil scared)
Oh sorry. I hate working early in the morning so I didn't catch your tone!
The first distro I used was Guadalinex, a distro developed by my Government (Andalusia, Spain) for education. I used it at school.
The first distro I installed was Ubuntu.
The first distro I daily drived was Fedora.
Oh that's interesting. I use Fedora but will look into Nobara.
The only reason stated above my comment is that Nobara looks better than Fedora. I asked because I genuinely don't know what's in Nobara that is not in Fedora and why is better Nobara.
No need to be an ass, leave that for Reddit users.
I'm using Fedora and I'm really happy with it. Pretty solid distro,
Why not using Fedora and customizing it yourself? What's the advantage of Nobara over Fedora?
Mosquitoes aren't attracted to light. You're only killing moths and other insects with that, maybe some mosquito but not all.
Things that actually attracts mosquitoes:
-Standing Water.
-Carbon Dioxide.
-Strong Fragrances.
-Overgrown Vegetation.
I switched to Fedora Workstation as my daily use drive this year, so for me sure it is!
That's it. I'm not mad I pay taxes. That money goes to (mostly) good things.
I'm mad I generate surplus value for my boss. That money goes to his new car and swimming pool.
