Im still mad confused. You cant just search a random sub"lemmy" and add it, you have to add a whole ass lemmy "channel"?

Ah shoot sorry I thought I added that I dont want to use an RDP, they are a bit clunky for what I want and they dont seem to be reliable enough. I'ved used a bunch of different ones years back.

Just looking for a lightweight browser localhost gui really

I guess I will have to set up my own ftp and ssh

I have a PC which I use to run a server for me and my gf, I often randomly change worlds but I dont know how to do it remotely so I end up closing the bedrock_server.exe program, transfer world files, rename the properties file and then run the eze again.

I would LOVE to be able to do this from my phone via an app or even just a browser.

Is this possible? And if so, is there like a Windows / Android app for this?

Many thanks!

On that note, can someone make a funny/meme multi-group or whatever Lemmy's version is called?

Are there any alternatives to lemmy or an official app?

I honestly thought Jerboa was the official app.

THIS IS SO CONFUSING

This is exactly my issue. I came from Boost (a 3rd party reddit app for android), hoping to the gods that this jurboa lemmy app offered card view so I can enjoy memes. Havent figured it out yet.

Also the termonology, "instances" "link aggregators" are confusing the f out of me.

And finally, even making a new account is confusing af.

I'm willing to bet a shit ton of people arent joining because of these reasons and the ones you made as well

This is Lemmys biggest downfall.

The whole "instances" and technical terms are confusing my idiot reddit brain
