I agree with the general premise you present, but let’s be clear: there is a BIG difference between framing this example as “invading horde” and “migrants”. One of these, at least, aims to present an acceptably neutral term, while the other targets a more visceral and inflammatory response. Both sides are not the same.

Spirit Island is the king for a reason! Good amount of variety in the base box, and every expansion is great (Branch and Claw first recommended to add some unpredictability alongside new spirits). Cheaper “starter” version is available Horizons of Spirit Island.
One of my favorite genres of solo games is the engine/tableau builder. Typically a “beat your own score” doing the best you can with cards drawn, with some automa to challenge. My favorites (pick the theme you like most):
- Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition Crisis expansion adds cooperative mode and elevates solo play.
- 51st State: Master Edition Also available with all expansions as Ultimate Edition
- Wingspan
Puzzle Dungeon is a nice little travel game with massive amount of heroes available for near unlimited replayability.

However, I cannot see any contract law judgement that would force continuation of a subscription model on the vendor (in perpetuity!) if they do not wish to remain under contract.

A finer detail is that Swift was contractually prohibited from new recordings for two years after original contract ended — that time has now passed.
I do appreciate the effort to contain memes. But, quite frankly, I avoid memes like the plague because 9 out of 10 are not funny or insightful — most just regurgitate the same tired tropes and worn out jokes. I am disappointed to find them here.
