If Facebook Australia is no longer serving "news" doesn't that make it the best version of Facebook available? (lemmy.ml)

Seriously, how Facebook presents "news" and practices social manipulation is fundamentally broken in Australia because of this decision.

Any Ausies on here that can let us know what FB looks and feels like right now?

My videorant thing about getting my first copyright claim as a new youtuber.

I 100% believe my usage was fair but the YouTube appeals system is skewed so hard in favour of the copyright holder (in this case a record label) so I decided not to push it.

Has anyone out there ever fought for fair use and won?
