I'm still curious about stuff I didn't try. Like NixOS. Even tough I have a perfectly configured and problem free arch install which could take hours to replicate, I still consider if I should try it.

It's not a click bait per se. Even after deb support they will use only snap for applications that has a snap package and only debs if it hasn't got any snap package afaik.

It's nearly one to one Windows copy. I am sure it's hard to do it and do it right but at the and of the day it is still a clone.

"Nobody", more like you and some vocal people like you. I am using fold 2 since nearly 2 years and I am really happy and this is maybe my best and most useful tech purchase yet. Nearly everyone also like it and interested in it when they saw it in my hands but it is too expensive to be mainstream for now so most couldn't buy it.

Normal Sync is okay but Sync Pro is really really good. I've been using it nearly 5 years until this api fiasco. This is so exciting.

Yeah I have the same problem. But after a while I understand that making top-day default is not ideal because the posts are always the same when you open the app. Active and hot sortings are broken. So only making sense option is new I think.
