Those same hypothetical users who take MIT code and don't contribute back, likely wouldn't bother using (A)GPL code anyway, so either way they're not contributing.
Is there much harm in having MIT licensees who don't contribute?
Rsync over FTP. i use it for a weekly nextcloud backup to a hetzner storage box
I made a 2nd series of this style back in the day. Sometimes I see them in and around Nottingham
I look forward to more voice assistants that arent as laughably broken as Google/Alexa.
My Google Nest can't even subtract from a timer (it can add, though!). Such a blatant surveillance device.
Logitech G305 that's still going after buying it about 5 years ago. But as others have said it's not gonna be BIFL.
Some tips though:
Cables. Avoid them. They're the first thing to break on most of these because the copper wires snap from bending. If you're worried about latency then get one with a 2.4Ghz wireless mode, which will have similar latency to a wire. Side note, replaceable wires can work here i spose!
Batteries. Wireless mice will of course need a battery, but ones which take AA or AAA are best since you won't be out of pocket if the battery dies and you can't find replacements.
Rubber. Avoid. It'll likely break down from your hand oils before the mouse does, leaving you with a sticky mouse which wont be fun to use.
Holes. Avoid. Sure it makes the mouse "lightweight" but it'll also be harder to avoid dust and other grime getting into sensitive parts.
Piracy or your local library.
Idk where you assumed 4k 120hz HDR from the post?
https://dietpi.com can be configured for Kodi. Youll be limited to 1080p H264 for streaming, as long as your Plex server can transcode to that format you should be OK.
It'll probs support any xinput-compatible pad, too.
Not sure about moonlight support on Pi/Linux but again you'll be limited by the decode.
Sure but you still gotta wait half a second for the filter to update or you'll still open the wrong map. I do the same typing "discor" only to open Discover every damn time.
Lmao i get the same whenever i wanna launch discord. Even if you do Discor it'll show discover first for a second so youll launch it twice before learning to wait :)
I pretty much avoid GIMP now. It became a pity download years ago, but now I'm just not bothering to wait for them to bring the software to the current decade.
Alternatives exist like Photopea, which even with a quarter of the screen covered in ads is way more performant, let alone productive.
Not to blame the maintainers, it seems like they've been left with a mess of spaghetti and no one is willing to help out. I can't say I'm surprised it's taken so long.
