Good gods. The timeline of my thoughts.

Having only seen headlines and the one photo:

That's too far off to the side. That's all the explanation the MAGAts will need to say, "Nuh uhhhhhh. The nazi salute should be more to the front. Like this." proceeds to expertly perform the nazi salute

Seeing the video on mute:

Holy shit. He straight up nazi saluted. How the fuck will these idiots reconcile that with reality?

Watching it with audio:

They're all gonna say it was him gesturing to his heart like brainwashed rubes.

So you don't understand metaphors. Got it.

That's like saying black and white is binary while everything is in grayscale.

Cloud you spread mine along a florescent bulb and let me deep throat it? Gotta get the light involved too.

Physically impossible to open the door in a fashion it was meant to be. Airplane doors are designed to open inwards. The air pressure inside the plane pushed the door into place evenly over the entire surface. Given an approximate pressure differential of 8psi spread across a minimum 24x48" airplane for would be 10,752 pounds of force that would need to be overcome to open the door. There is no way to apply that kind of force from inside the plane that wouldn't catastrophically damage the door prior to opening. You can't just pull the handle that hard without it breaking. There'd be nothing to grab that would pull out in without failure.

So maybe you could rig up a machine to break a portion of the door and create a hole. But the door would in no way be intact or functional afterwards.

They must have had a way to get in the first time, for instance.

Not necessarily. There are lots of comparisons to submarines but it's more comparable to airplanes. Part of the security on a plane is that it is physically impossible to open the door while the plane is flying. The pressure difference between the pressurized inside and thin air outside would require superhuman force to open.

In a similar vein, when the ISS was constructed it wasn't initially pressurized. This would make opening the door from the outside trivial from a pressurization standpoint. As long as the only means to pressurize it could be triggered from inside, there'd be no way it would be pressurized without someone inside.

It bothers me that he doesn't seem to think minneapolis would be included in minnesota. But I'll let it slide if we can join canadia

What do they need to file suit for? The session was adjourned. No business could happen. It holds as much sway as if I waltzed into the chambers and held a vote declaring myself speaker. They should ignore it until a proper vote can happen.

The sovcit *overstands" it.

[–] meco03211 2 points 5 days ago

But what are the chances of that? Probably like 1 in a million.

Fevers are no joke.

Careful or they'll hit you with a performance contract and you'll owe them trillions for inconveniencing them.

I'm hoping to find a game similar to Borderlands Science. Preferably something that can be played on a phone. Top tier would be the ability to play offline (sometimes I don't have great cell service though I understand it would need to be connected to some degree).

I can easily zone out on somewhat mindless games and play for hours if I have the free time or spare attention. Progress tends to be my limiting factor. If I've just put 10 hours into a game and the next time I pick it up is the exact same as the first it can feel like a waste. If instead, those mindless hours were going to a good cause that is progressing (even if I don't directly see that progress), it might make it easier. Plus it's going to a good cause.

How does dog pee ownership work? (self.nostupidquestions)

The cliche understanding is that dogs mark their territory with pee. At times I've been on walks with family and friends with half a dozen dogs. There have been occasions where they form a line just to pee in the same spot.

So how does the ownership work? Is it like a co-op? Last one to pee wins?

How bad are everyone else's side effects? I currently take a 30mgXR in the morning and 10mgIR part way through the day. I can get some facial tics and other OCD like symptoms. They aren't bad enough to lower my dose or make other changes at this point. Just wondering what others are experiencing and if anyone has any tips or tricks to dealing with stuff like that.

Dumb question (self.composting)

My understanding is a lot of "greens" eventually become "brown". Green leaves when they dry up would switch to a "brown". Same with dead grass.

With that in mind I tried a very lazy process of only adding greens for a continual process. My first addition to my pile this year was grass clippings. They still haven't really broke down.

Is my approach fundamentally flawed? Or is there something I'm missing to improve the process?
