Yeah, it wasn't obvious at all, I also discovered it by accident

I also discovered it super late in my Apollo usage, I just randomly tried long press on a whim and it worked haha

There's a similar (maybe even better) feature that was popular in Apollo, which is that, in the comments view, you had a button in the bottom right (position configurable) that, when tapped, would scroll you to the next top-level comment, and if long-pressed, would scroll you to the previous top-level comment.

Kinda, the hamburger menu icon opens the drawer – the drawer is the element that opens on top, containing the list of subscriptions. I guess a menu and a drawer are similar concepts.

Are you asking how to access the drawer? If so, you must go to the first tab, then at the top left, you have an icon, which opens the drawer (then inside the drawer you have the list of subscriptions). Not sure if that's the only way to do this, since I've only had the update for a few hours.

Agree, this would be awesome, as an ex Apollo user I find myself missing this button a lot! Especially with its hidden functionality of jumping to the previous parent comment on long press.

This is super useful, thanks for sharing! This should be included in an orientation like "first time using Lemmy?" or something, though I have no idea how that would be organized.

Nice, thanks for the tip! I do also have wefwef, I'll check out the new version!

Ohh, that makes sense, thanks for the tip. I'm on Memmy for iOS which doesn't seem to have it, but I'll check out other apps, would be nice to have one with this feature.

Right, this is what I've been doing so far, it's just getting a bit annoying to keep blocking communities left and right lol. Really looking forward to the block instance feature.

How do you block a whole instance? I was under the impression this was a feature that's still missing as of right now.

Any tips you can share on how you did this? I'm totally new to Lemmy, and I'm having a hard time finding and/or discovering interesting communities.
