This magazine was created as a point of exodus for /r/DeepIntoYouTube/. While I was not the Owner of the subreddit, I was the moderator behind our modbot, and the only active full permission mod.
I hope to keep this community similar to how it was on Reddit with minimal changes. The rules are mostly the same as before, with minor tweaks to the wording and the removal of some ancient internet references (Vimeo... wow).
I'm not sure how moderation will work here... if the other moderators reach out to me, I will add them. I and just now getting this off the ground, so I do not have a modbot to automatically moderate, and I'm not sure how much is possible. I'm still learning about kbin. I'm not looking for additional moderators at this time. I'm not even sure this will even be successful. Over the decade that /r/DeepIntoYouTube existed, it grew to over 3 million subscribers, but activity was always light. If I need additional mods, I will post another article asking for them.
For now, I will not be enforcing the rules heavily. I will allow conversation threads without YouTube links so long as they aren't offensive and everyone behaves.
Anyway, welcome tot he new DeepIntoYouTube!
Thanks for joining! I hope we can build at least something close to what we had.
