This is happening for me as well, as soon as I open the app :( also on Android. May try uninstalling/reinstalling to see if that helps
EDIT: That seems to have helped! My app is working again now, either way :)

That's fair! I mentioned the idea of an alternate layout with dedicated voting buttons and it sounds like that is on the developer's radar, but it may be a bit before it gets implemented. I personally prefer buttons so I'm hopeful it'll happen eventually!
Bless you, I am so excited for that update!!
Huge fan of Thunder - it's still in alpha so it's missing features, but it's slick as heck and the developer is crunching out great updates already based on feedback on the GitHub page/their community page! Using Jerboa mostly for now, but likely will be using Thunder as my main in a few weeks :)
If you swipe slightly right it'll upvote, and a swipe further right will downvote; if you do it slowly you can see the animation and color to the left of the post changes. Right now the way it's coded there's some lag between your swipe and the vote count changing, which the dev said he hopes to address soon!
There was also some talk of toggleable voting arrows as an alternative to swiping, but I don't know the timeline on that right now :)
Another one I forgot to mention was another feature from Boost - that app also has the up/down arrows to let you quickly navigate the parent threads on a post's comment view, with the handy additional feature that long-pressing on the up arrow zooms you back up to the top of the page. Always appreciated that feature!
I love the compact look! Feels like you're showing just the right amount of info here. My two questions/thoughts:
Honestly I really like Jerboa's list view with the voting arrows on the left, but your compact view looks even classier since you iconified a few things that they currently represent with words. Excited to try your compact view once it's been implemented!
I believe this was Lemmynade originally!
A delightfully devilish shitpost
I also very much appreciated this feature in Boost for Reddit - up and down arrows at the bottom of the screen to navigate top level comments, and holding down the up button took you to the top of the post. Quite handy!
I really like Slice, hahah. Simple, short and memorable!
I personally like that users aren't shown in my feed because it makes list view so clean looking, but it absolutely makes sense to at least have it as an option! I'd be kinda into seeing usernames when browsing communities and clicking into posts, moreso than in my main feed, but that might be getting too granular.
You should file a GitHub ticket about this!
