This could also be a great textbook example of social conditioning. Women and men self-perpetuating gender stereotypes and acting weirded out when they're being violated.
In my experience, mods in general have gotten extremely bad. Lemmy, reddit, basically all social media is being moderated without the least amount of professionality, standard or competency.
You getting downvoted shows to me that there is no difference between Lemmy and Reddit.
