So I've been seeing and reading a tonne of conflicting stuff about 45w Charging and sfc2.0 especially for the s25u. Some say 5a cable is no longer required even.

I went out and bought a bunch of 3rd party brand chargers, all of which are supposed to support sfc2.0, namely:

  • Anker 735 65w Ganprime
  • Anker 313 Ace2 45w
  • Ugreen Nexode 65W
  • Ugreen 100W USB C Charger, Nexode 4 Ports Charging Station

And my personal conclusion is:

  • 65w (or under) chargers need 5a cable to get sfc2.0
  • 100w chargers can use any cable, including the one that came in box to get sfc2.0

Just FYI if anyone is looking for charger/cable combo to get sfc2.0. 5a cables, I believe any cable marketing itself as 100w or above should be 5a capable. E.g. I got this generic cable off Amazon: LISEN USB C to USB C Cable 1M 1 Pack 240W and it's fine.

Noting that even with sfc2.0, the highest watts I saw on screen with AccuBattery, however accurate that is, was 35w when my battery was 4% and kept cool so I still haven't seen that magical 45w yet, but it charged very fast. 4% to 85% took 40 mins, which is very very fast in my books. Changed the way I use the phone, virtually no battery anxiety anymore.

I noticed sfc1.0 also maxes out at 30w and not 25w as well, which makes the difference even more negligible. I would end this by saying don't feel the need to go out of your way to spend money to get sfc2.0.

Yep. I came, couldn't get into it, https://lemmy.world/post/1388830 and unfortunately went back to Reddit.

That's when google pixel phones 'hold for me' feature is insanely useful. Sometimes I even forget I'm on a call and on hold.

My bank allows me to choose as many accounts as I want to become offset accounts so check if that's available as an option for you. That way it'll make no difference.

In Australia, you can FLY for 4 hours and still be in the same state.

So I'm assuming the duplicate communities are communities of the same exact name in different instances/server. Is anyone else finding this somewhat confusing?

Is there a way to find/pick the "right" one, or should it just be based on whichever has the most users?

New to Fediverse (here and Mastodon), still trying to wrap my head around the whole thing.
