slskd is a game changer for me. I have it running 24/7 on my pi but should run on pretty much anything.

Linux gives you freedom.

Freedom lets you break stuff.

If, like Windows or MacOSyou just use it as intended by official support, it should be fine. If you start just adding everything and anything from anyone you're gonna break stuff.

Other stuff is made to be idiot proof, Linux is not.

This seems more like UK Gov vs. WhatsApp.

Nice Signal are also holding their ground but they are a little fish in a big pond. The Government uses WhatApp heavily and there have been quite a few leaks, assume they would love a wee backdoor.

Glad to hear.

Had similar struggles, but glad I pushed though.

Between my Android phone, pi & stereo I now have music on the go and in the house that can beat what I had with Windows, Limewire, stereo & a 20GB ipod classic ~2003. Better late than never.

I was struggling too...ended up being I had a space or a tab or something in the yml config file and everything just worked...I was messing about with symlinks, remounting drives under /home and it was all due to one blank space in the config I think.

I've got navidrome on my pi too and Symfonium & Tailscale on my Android....awesome to be able to grab tracks, in flac, anywhere in the world and immediately stream them back using MP3 or ogg.

I used it for many years but have more recently switched to slskd, which is a game changer for me.

Honestly no idea about searches and queues, I can usually find what I want.

Think I'm still on keepassxc but looking to change. Bitwarden is looking good.

Do you selfhost?

No idea on species

I was playing around with other builds for a few months but have come back to arcane, which is where I started.

Just curious about weapon preferences or suggestions for arcane builds.

I've played around with a few options but am currently rocking the Occult Giant Crusher & Reduvia dagger, Dragon Communion Seal and the ever present longbow.

I can see images, which is nice.

Just curious if there is a note of what media can be uploaded and if this can vary by instance.

jpgs seems fine....but webm, gifs, mp3, mp4 etc I have no idea about. I couldn't see an obvious way to upload videos and instead of trying 64^4^ different media combos as an image thought I'd ask.

Apologies if I've missed something obvious.
