given how many targets are supported by llvm there's really little difference in cross platform support asides from building artifacts for the specific target platform. wrapping package delivery in a package manager removes the additional complexity to the end user.

State Senator Anthony Kern [photo], the bill’s sponsor, says the Ten Commandments shaped the country’s heritage. “Our history is the Ten Commandments,”

I'm guessing he's never read the Constitution?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

would bet money he doesn't even know what the 10 commandments are

Considering how riled up everyone seems to getting over what was said, I inclined to believe it was said specifically to get a rise out of their opposition.

their actions on Jan 6th, the Nazi marches with literal 3rd Reich chants and the political refusal to denounce them. refusing women health care causing an increase in mortality rates.

you can't participate in fascism and say /s just kidding bro.

In other words; you're being trolled, and they're having a laugh.

they aren't trolling, they're laughing that they're getting away with it and the system refuses to do anything about it. the cruelty and the power to enact that cruelty onto others is the joke to them.

i reported it as doxing, looks like they're recording names and addresses. maybe those in the EU can raise gdpr concerns?

main difference is auto fill support and detection based on domain and/or application. mainly saves a few clicks and also prevents passwords from leaking through clipboards.

depends on the implementation, article states it's based off the acquisition of fakespot which is trained to detect scams and fake reviews. if it could be expanded to detect misinformation that could be a really helpful tool depending on how its configured and information is relayed to the end user.

Maybe they could white label a password manager (Bitwarden?)

not sure starting at which version, but in android you can set bitwarden as a default password manager system wide which integrates pretty seamlessly with firefox and other apps. only place i know bitwarden doesn't really integrate well with firefox is on Linux but that seems more due to bitwardens lack of interest to implement freedesktop apis.

i agree though with additional revenue streams, they need to break dependence on Google search engine revenue. maybe spend research on alternative monitization to ads and sponsored content that could be implemented at a browser level and split revenue between browser and websites.

Microsoft lawyer Rakesh Kilaru wrote that Microsoft was already considering layoffs before the merger.

Corporate gaslighting at it's finest. we planned to layoff ~1000 employees from the company we were acquiring before we agreed not to do that!

18 U.S. Code § 2381 - Treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

treason is more about declarations of war, a foreign party may be involved but it's not required.

you seem to be blaming the workers for turning out flops but in general it's the managements lack of planning and micromanagement that's the general cause.

no one who's a developer, artist, designer wants to add micro transactions, that comes from top down because it's a revenue generator. they want to polish the games so they can be proud of the work, but are not given time.

executives are not the ones generally being let go and the ones that are will be cashing out from the acquisition. expect those IPs to get worse and have more enshittification because that's what makes money and that's all corpos care about.

you don't get a larian studios from laying off talent, you get it from good management and giving your talent time to deliver.

could be skimpflation. company's have been changing ingredients slowly to lower the cost of ingredients to save on cost. doing it very slowly over years they end up saving money and no one really notices the changes.

if you can find an old ingredient/nutritional list from a few years ago you can compare ingredient order to see if it's changed

if you actually want to protect kids, this is the shit you form a posse to go protect right? for all the people worried about children this is where you would show up at the court and/or prison and demand their release?
