Yeah it seems kinda pointless to me at least. I’m still gonna end up going with a battery from the phone manufacturer anyways and it will probably cost the same as getting them to replace it for me. Like I don’t want to trust 3rd party batteries with an expensive phone at this point.

Yeah Facebook has always been shitty but imo Twitter is worse now. It feels like a weird fusion of Facebook and 4chan now especially with blue checkmark accounts being the top replies. So every post just has a bunch of edgy conspira-boomers spewing the usual right wing stuff or just praising Elon thinking he’ll notice them.
I hate meta but I think I hate Elons Twitter more so I’m rooting for zuck to kill Twitter.
Yeah it’s basically been essential to me since the last place I use YouTube is actually on my computer. It’s usually on my phone and on my tv and there’s not a way around it on Roku afaik and I don’t feel like sideloading an app.
I’m currently using the memmy app and it’s honestly really good already. I don’t think you can change font but you definitely can change font size on it at least.
It’s funny because if they did something like require Reddit premium to use 3rd party apps I would understand and honestly just pay it. Now I’m here.
Yeah now I just have bad screen and good screen at same time, then get off work to look at tiny screen and bigger screen at same time too.
I’ll still always rely on Reddit for obscure answers to questions when googling, but I plan on staying with Lemmy once Apollo is taken down. I’ve been trying it out and adjusting to it during the blackout and as long as the community stays somewhat consistent, I like it here more. Reminds me of when I first joined Reddit over a decade ago.
I usually wont quit an app over changes like this but Reddit to me is different. I like Reddit for being a place to find new communities to join and interact with what’s popular, and since the spez ama and the removal of 3rd party apps I just don’t trust it to stay that way anymore. The last thing I want to see Reddit become is another infinite scrolling content feed that an algorithm thinks you’ll like so you never want to stop scrolling. And I’m assuming since they just want to seek profit that’s what it will eventually become.
This is one of those games I wish I could forget and play for the first time. It’s still fun but after a few hundred hours some things are less surprising.
Glad to see them expanding to different platforms finally. More people need to be able to experience it. Easily the best coop game I’ve ever played with friends.
Good on you for quitting rage games. I used to have this issue as well and after taking a few years off of them, I was able to get back into them without the anger and frustration.
I only play online games with friends now and only for fun. I actually just got into Fortnite and it’s really fun to play and just kinda goof around with friends in. If we win it’s nice but if we don’t it’s not a big deal. The game is so goofy that it’s hard to get mad at.
But when you do start realizing that the main games you play just piss you off, you need to take a step back and try to find what games actually let you have fun and what conditions you have fun under. For me it’s either single player games, or multiplayer games casually with friends.
I’d probably lose my mind playing Valorant alone but it’s really nice and casually with a group of people just talking and playing together.
Valorant, Fortnite, phasmophobia, grounded, and overwatch 2 are probably the best group games I play at this point. I can’t recommend league sadly because everyone I play with also just gets angry at this point lmao.
Yeah it’s great so far. Although it’s really heating up my phone lol.
