I’d encourage you to look up what a vice is.
It’s glaringly obvious your vices are different but I guarantee you have your own that some or many of us would find to be wildly irresponsible.

Sometimes a little cloud cover makes viewing the eclipse even better. I wasn’t too far away from the totality last year and saw this one:

I’m guessing a lot of people in south Ontario had a similar experience to yours.
Do you spend every single dollar you get responsibly? Do you have zero vices?

I can’t picture what you’re talking about at all with regards to how you burn yourself. I’ve been soldering small wires and components (RC car hobbyist) for years and never burned myself.
It’s a good sign tho. It’s getting closer to me.
