English and Spanish. I also want to learn Portuguese eventually mostly because I am looking into moving to Brazil.

Yeah I understand the frustration completely. It's really disheartening to have your content attacked just because of right wing antivegan morons. I barely ever posted here until recently and even then my comments would just get downvoted for seemingly no reason, these people really need to get a life.

Wow, this all looks amazing! Can't wait to move so I can finally start up my garden patch again.

I support this decision. Really sick of seeing so much pro-American anti-left content from that instance.

I'm not so sure about lemmy.world. It's not all bad but there's also a fuck ton of liberal shit on there. A lot of the posts I see are people bitching about communism.

I have no issues with .ml personally, it's the instance I created my main Lemmy account on and I find the people there to be more tolerable than .world.

Hey, I haven't been a user here for long, but I lurked the veganhomecooks subreddit and then this community for a couple of years. I'm sorry you've been getting harassed by the losers on here. For what it's worth I agree with your anti-US sentiment and think the drive-by downvotes are fucking annoying. I find a lot of Lemmitors are simply morons who treat Lemmy as another Reddit and as such it has a lot of similar problems to Reddit.

Either way, thank you for setting this place up. I have enjoyed my time here even if it might not be for long.

I've read the first 20 or so pages so far using a PDF copy and agree with your description, the book is really moving and Fanon's words have hit me hard. I think this is probably one of the best metaphors and descriptions of colonisation that I have read so far and am looking forward to reading the rest.

It's literally one of the stupid arguments against veganism. Even if plants did feel pain it takes a hell of a lot more plants to feed farmed animals which carnists then eat alongside other plants meaning it would just be another argument for veganism anyway.

I'd rather eat my own shit than put McDonald's into my body. Terrible company, terrible "food."
