Can we not celebrate the people who have made sacrifices for their country and for ideals like freedom, and support those people because they have inadequate support from the government who ordered their sacrifices, while also decrying the actions and behaviours which we see as morally wrong?

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). It will reduce inflammation and the associated pain. If your pain is not caused by inflammation then you should talk to a pharmacist about what the best analgesic is for you.

Is it over-use of Photoshop or really bad HDR?

Flooding leaves horrible mud in its wake. It's full of sewage, vehicle fluids, and heaps of nutrient for bacteria, leading to a terrible smell.

Really we should be asking (I want to know) why FEMA invented their own USAR standards instead of adopting the INSARAG ones? Why the US have put so much more money into USAR and not flood and storm response? Surely after Harvey and Katrina, not to mention tornadoes, you've learned that having something like Australia's SESs would provide you with surge capacity of people skilled in storm damage mitigation and flood rescue? I really would like to know

A new book by Australian journalist Joe Aston claims Albanese made several calls to ex-CEO Alan Joyce, and received upgrades on 22 flights taken between 2009 and 2019.

Look, I'm not one to stick my neck out for politicians, but this seems like clever wordplay. An MP, then the transport minister, and now PM made several calls to the CEO of our national air carrier, and also received a bit over two free upgrades on flights over 10 years? It seems like we're expected to make the inference that he asked for these based on coincidence and hearsay. Perhaps he earned them via a fequent flyer program.

Really this all should be referred to a federal ICAC. Oh wait...

People getting brake and break mixed up annoys me, but I get it. If this is you, your car has brakes and you take a break from work after breaking your arm.

Mitch Hedberg jokes while high is a pretty smart move. Either that or you're the only person who finds them funny and end up looking like an idiot.

Ah yes, "growth", aka zero-um growth of one megacorp over other tech companies. Never seen this one before, what could possibly go wrong?
