Interesting in some respects and a laughable failure in others - the body is made of a proprietary blend of steel that they've somehow managed to make extremely corrodible, even by stuff like rain, as one example. Certainly not holistically well engineered, at least not in all aspects.

Unbelievably based. You want me to be in an office because you think it's more productive? Great. Pay me for everything involved in that switch and I'll do it. Oh, it's more expensive? Boo fucking hoo.

Biggest issue is social. Buying a Tesla associates you positively with musk (by design), and from my experience most Tesla owners are incredibly annoying about it. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to avoid the stigma. Same reason people buy Harleys - the brand name and cultural associations on a vehicle matter a lot, sometimes even more than the car itself.

Excellent rundown. The baseline power supplier for when there's no wind or sun can either be natural gas or nuclear, and nuclear produces far less harmful byproducts.

Firefox is the only mainstream browser with source code written in full by a nonprofit. That's more than enough for me to evangelize it. Let me know how manifest 3 and the chromium web drm implementation treat you.
